Progress
Progress page two contains:
wind data
track error data
true airspeed
static air temperature
fuel data
H/WIND T/WIND - Displays headwind (H/WIND) or tailwind (T1WIND) component relative to the airplane heading.
WIND - Displays current wind direction and speed referenced to true north.
XTK ERROR - Displays crosstrack (XTK) error in nautical miles left or right of the active route.
TAS - Displays airplane true airspeed.
LEFT (FUEL USED) - Displays fuel used by left engine sensed by fuel flow meters.
FUEL USED TOT - Displays sum of the LEFT and RIGHT fuel used values.
USE prompts display when TOTALIZER and CALCULATED values disagree by a significant amount. The scratchpad message FUEL DISAGREE-PROG 2 is also displayed.
(SB changes modifies message.)
On older FMCs the scratchpad message reads FUEL QTY ERROR-PROG 2/2.
Push - selects method to calculate fuel quantity, either TOTALIZER or CALCULATED. When one is selected:
it is used for remainder of flight
the other fuel calculation method blanks
scratchpad clears.
FUEL QTY TOTALIZER - Displays total fuel quantity from the fuel system quantity processor.
The fuel remaining line displays two independent fuel remaining values, TOTALIZER and CALCULATED. They can be compared to validate FMC calculations.
X/WIND - Displays left (L) or right (R) crosswind component relative to airplane heading.
WIND - Displays current wind direction and speed referenced to true north.
VTK ERROR - Displays vertical path (VTK) error above (+) or below (-) vertical path.
SAT - Displays outside static air temperature.
RIGHT (FUEL USED) - Displays fuel used by right engine sensed by fuel flow meters.
FUEL USED TOT - Displays sum of the LEFT and RIGHT fuel used values.
USE prompts display when TOTALIZER and CALCULATED values disagree by a significant amount. The scratchpad message FUEL DISAGREE-PROG 2 is also displayed.

Push - selects method to calculate fuel quantity, either TOTALIZER or CALCULATED. When one is selected:
it is used for remainder of flight
the other fuel calculation method blanks
scratchpad clears.
FUEL QTY CALCULATED - Displays fuel remaining as calculated by the FMC with these methods:
before engine start, fuel quantity calculated by fuel quantity system totaliser
after engine start, fuel quantity at engine start decreased by EICAS engine fuel flow rate
after erasing a manually entered fuel quantity (PERF INIT page), resets to totaliser
after landing, resets to fuel quantity system totaliser
The fuel remaining line displays two independent fuel remaining values, TOTALIZER and CALCULATED. They can be compared to validate FMC calculations.
